AI Bot

Chat bots are now available to everyone. Organizations will be able to optionally enable a chat bot agent who can handle conversations for you and assign conversations to other agents. Pricing starts at $0.01 / message sent by the chat bot. The chat bot reads your whole knowledge base to answer customer questions. The chat bot can transfer a conversation to a real person if the customer asks for it.

Follow these steps to enable the AI bot.

  1. Add some basic documentation to your knowledge base so the bot can know how to answer your customers' queries.
  2. Add a payment method to your account if you haven't already. Navigate to the "Account" page and click "Add Payment Method". You must have the "admin" role for this step.
  3. Navigate to the "Agents" page and click on the AI bot icon at the top of the page. Select the level of intelligence you need for your AI bot and click the "Enable AI Bot" button. If you are unsure which level of intelligence to select, start with "Basic". You can change this later. You must have the "admin" role for this step.
  4. Upload an image for your bot and choose a name for it.
  5. Wait a minute or so for the AI bot to come online, and assign conversations to it! It may be helpful to set your conversation routing settings to assign directly to your new AI bot.
